Thank you for the comments and I have taken your advise and added the address, phone, fax, etc to the footer. I use a different contact component for my staff pages that also allows for biographies and other settings that works for our school. It is com_peoplebook but it is now difficult to find. You use docman which allows you to set up groups for document categories. Set each kid up as a category and only allow them access.
