I'm no further down the path to understanding why this problem exists but just to update others, I only encounter this problem with IE. In FF no such issues.

I've not experienced any problems (like this or otherwise) with other forums. However, the number of forums I frequent probably doesn't represent a great sample! I have spent considerable time recently on the Virtuemart forums though and I've not had any problems there.

I'm a rank amateur with all of this so I'm afraid I have nothing to offer other than to confirm that I too have this same problem when using IE 7 on Windows XP. If I use Firefox then everything works fine. I can't recall exactly when I started experiencing the problem but I think it was ...
