Re: Discuss: Ladies and Gentlemen... here

I just want to personally thank everyone who put so much blood, sweat and tears into making Joomla 1.5 as good as it is.  It really is just so much better than 1.0 in every way.  A great team effort!

Cheers,

Please help us fix the j.org IE7 rendering bug

Ok, i've spent 3 hours trying to resolve this bug with IE7 as shown in the screenshot below and have gotten absolutely no where.  Basically what happens, is the page renders fine, but then if you scroll down, part of the background vanishes.  Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Re: SSL enabled on the forge. https://scm.joomla.org works!

Well, the short answer is traffic is encrypted so your data including your login information is not 'sniffable'.  But more importantly for some is that you can retain some annonimity and security while behind a corporate firewall.

SSL enabled on the forge. https://scm.joomla.org works!

Ok, to most this is not a big deal, but to me this is a huge step in the right direction.  I've been working with the good folks at VA to get this setup for the source repository and it's been a bumpy ride with a couple of false starts, but we are now in business.  Thanks to Colin for dona...

Re: Discussion about : Joomla! 1.5 is on the Horizon ...

It's not that there won't be an upgrade path, it just we've not decided what the best approach for that path will actually be, hence the lack of a good answer :)  Don't worry, we'll make sure it's as painless as possible.

Re: Donating to OSM?

Guys, if you want to help out the effort and want to add the banner to the corner of your sites, you can put this code

Code: Select all

<script src="http://www.joomla.org/donate_ribbon.js"></script>

right under the tag in your pages/templates.

Cheers!
