Hi, Yes I understood. Even with the feature to differentiate between J1.5 (legacy and or native) still limits you to what extensions are available in the first place. I have heard comments from several developers that they won't even consider porting their components to J1.5 native until J1.5...

You will find that it will be slow going for J1.5 extensions for a while. Based on past experience I would anticipate 12 months before J1.5 extensions get into full swing. Release candidate 3 is out the door, and I guess the final release of 1.5 is in sight, but the situation with 1.5 native extensions is still a real let down to the user-friendly Joomla! 1.5 imho.
