Yes, no need to fear the color thing yet. It's not like back in '99-'00...remember when it seemed like every logo out there was blue & green with symbols of people leaping or a swirl/whirlpool. Compared to that the color thing is peanuts. As long as the logo is still recognizable when reduced to b&w...

I believe it's part of the name, like "Yahoo!" As such, its easy to lock onto it as a design element.
