also, the float:left; attribute on .mainlevelmainnav,.mainlevelmainnav ul seems to cause problems in internet explorer 7 whereby the menu is offset to the right of the parent li.. removing this float attribute and adding it to the immediate parent div (.menumainnav) seems to sort it
