also, the float:left; attribute on .mainlevelmainnav,.mainlevelmainnav ul seems to cause problems in internet explorer 7 whereby the menu is offset to the right of the parent li.. removing this float attribute and adding it to the immediate parent div (.menumainnav) seems to sort it ![Smiley :)](./images/smilies/smiley.gif)

am just experimenting with an accessible joomla template utilising the extended suckerfish menu and noticed a couple of ommissions/errors in ya post when starting out afresh.. to get your css to work, the class suffix of the anchors needs to be defined in the menu.ini file, changing it from '-sucker...
