Not to cause massive extra work for the development team but is there any chance that a built-in multisites feature may be integrated into the core (perhaps in 1.5, that would definitely help justify the multiple sub-versions being skipped!)? Or is this not on the agenda yet?

I'll be at the Linux World this week in Boston. I'm not sure what day I'm going yet, but I'm a tad skeptical of this 1.5, but I do realize that this is the future. Excellent work! For the document administrators out there, I've just noticed the Joomla! Roadmap hasn't been updated since Joomla! 1.0.5 was released (version 1.0.6 is still in a "TBA" stage in the document).

Joomla! 1.0.4 works on PHP 5.0.5 and MySQL 5.0.16
