Re: Discussion about Joomla! 1.0.6 Release
hornos - Good advice though. I always back things up just in case. But once a site is live with people contributing (the site I'm working on now will have people register and contribute articles and links, then a staff member will review and publish them (or reject and notify the author of needed ch...

Seriously, you guys done a great job. I'm about to upgrade my project in development and am looking forward...

Re: Discussion about Joomla! 1.0.6 Release
Good thing that I haven't put my site online yet. I've been developing a site with 1.0.5 offline on my personal server. I have 4 to do but only started on the one site and have it nearly finished. Do I use the upgrade package or can I erase all the files (except my template, modules and components, ...

I assume I'll need to fasten my seatbelt. With 4 sites that tentatively will be using the Joomla CMS system, and each on also may have a phpBB forum (two already do), I'm sure keeping up with updates and upgrades will get quite interesting.

Re: Profile Avatar Picture Ends Up Too Small
Thank you. Works good now. It would be useful if that could somehow be stuck into the profile upload avatar part as a reference. I even checked the FAQ and didn't find anything about it.
Thanks for the help. As you can see, it worked.

Profile Avatar Picture Ends Up Too Small
When I set up to link to a picture (about 84 x 100, jpg or 84 x 100 gif - tried both formats) the image ends up looking distorted at the top of the page and in my posts. The image also ends up much smaller than the actual avatar size. Can someone tell me what format the avatar has to be in and what ...

Re: Discussion about : Joomla! 1.1 — Developer Power, User Excitement
First I'd like to say Congratulations on the new alpha. I'm new here and I was using Mambo for a little while. I tried Joomla 1.0.5 and am going to try and use it on my 4 domains that need a CMS. One in particular I need to get started on soon so that my site staff can start putting stuff from...
