Re: List of 1.5 Ready Extensions
Brian, You are missing the point here. If you have read it carefully, there is no one here demanding for anything. If you go to the extension site and look, some extension claimed to be compatible with Joomla 1.5 and they are not. It is only causing confusion. That is maybe the reason why some here ...

Re: List of 1.5 Ready Extensions
It is confusing. Like CB 1.0.1. It is not compatible yet with Joomla 1.5.
It would be nice if there are 3 groups extensions:
1. 1.0.x
2. 1.0.x and compatible with 1.5
3. Pure 1.5 extension.

@Chris
If it is a stable release I am fully agreed with you. This is just a beta release to the community for debugging and nothing more. Are you always theatrical like this?

Re: Someone from the Joomla EXPERT, WRITE A BOOK About WEB DESIGN & complexity
I understand it is fully implemented in 1.1. Only there is backward compatibility with the old template. I don't have any further news on this.
To make the book more desirable you can combine it with Joomla 1.1.

Hi Eyezberg,
I can't promise you to by the book but I think there is a market for it . Certainly with the new Pattemplate with Joomla 1.1 and further.

Brain storm (actualy more of a slight shower) ... Re: My thread was locked by the Chief
Have you guys ever seen a good trailer park argument? How about a female fight at the local bowling alley? One where two bleached blonds are wrestling over some loser who's never worked a day in his life but who has the stamina to father kids by both of the WT's?
Is Joomla the loser here ?

AmyStephen, you don't need to thank me. Just try to give something back to this community. I understand your point and this tread will not change anything. But before I end this discussion, might I remember you some of your own words. Don't take it as an offence. Also... don't worry about the debate...

Re: Why are commercial components allowed?
AmyStephen, Habbekrats has a point. It doesn't matter to me wether they make money with commercial software. But the golden chain Habbekrats point to is a bloody shame. Give the buyers the choice to choose and not forced them to use.

Just curious, are you doing this as a volunteer?
Why don't you let her do the job?
Without going into all the details…this woman that is part of this non-profit knows enough about web design to get other people wound up, I will need to be ready to defend my choice of using Joomla.
Why don't you let her do the job?

Joomla.org connection slow or site not found.
Hi everybody,
Lately the connection to Joomla.org especially the forum is very slow. Often the webbrowser shows site not found. Is there a reason for this. Are there more people who have the same problem? Can anyone confirm this?
