Another subtle troll/flame. They're becoming too frequent lately.
Just ignore them!

Re: Why are commercial components allowed?
This looks like the subtile trolls/flames so frequent lately in these forums.
IMO, the supposed contradiction between free and commercial Open Source software is not worth discussing any more.

Re: Discussion : Logo Winner Annoucement
I voted JBird because it needed no explanation and reminded me of no other software.
But now that Jommla 01 has been choosen... let's forget about our preferences and go back to serious work: core, addons and templates.
BTW congratulations, Alan.

Re: Discussion about: Baby Joomla! Cuts its First Tooth - Joomla! 1.0 Released
Great job, guys - clean, fast, elegant BUT during the installation I noticed that the word Mamber had survived in the messages I wouldn't like to find it again! From the side of multilanguage support 1.0 is somehow - AGAIN MADE TO RUN ONLY IN ENGLISH, there is no option to make a i...

At m brads says that the marketing survey has now been completed. So what are the results? I think it is important to publish them to put some order in the process of choosing the new slogan, which is becoming sort of a mess. I imagine it will take some time to even just prepare the results f...

Re: New slogan
rule of a thumb: careful with specific meanings in other languages, when creating a slogan (for specific audience)... English is our lingua franca, so don't bother about nuances in other languages. Rather think of easy words everyone can understand, like the glorious 'Power in simplicity" (two noun...

Much funnier than useful , I'm afraid. This is not (supposed to be) the humor zone
Pople play with words in lack of software to play with.

Re: New slogan
My last post in this thread as it is going to be a neverending story if no-one knows where to go to: There is something that makes me feel pitty: Compared to the name-finding thread there seems to be only few interest to find a slogan by the community. I'm missing many many highly respected members...

Re: New slogan
I was hoping the discussion Hannelore, Tyndal and I started would result in good new suggestions for a slogan; well thought over and to the point. And I don't want to be particularly picky or anything, but a slogan like "it CAN be that easy"..... Well I just don't know.... How easy is this easy of ...

Re: New slogan
Hi, Tyndal I agree with you. I couldn't find the results of the marketing survey, but in general I feel that we are thinking too much about ourselves (what $ambo used to mean to us, what Joomla means to us, how disgusting $iro's attitude is to us...). But, what do other people think of this process?...

Re: Project Name Chosen- Discussion
This thread makes no sense to me as the name has been chosen. IMHO it doesn't matter what the name is as long as the product is good, and Joomla only needs to prove to be the best, what will not be difficult at all. So let's get down to work!

And I don't like the exclamation mark after the name. We are not Yahoo! are we?
