Which means that the code does not specify a specific version so any subsequent recipient of the code can use whatever succeeding version of the license they want. The only thing that must change is the name, which we are working on at the moment. But (I suppose) the copyright line in the source files giving credits to Miro must be kept; almost until the last line of code created before the last week will be purged (a bit difficult until Mambo 10.0, I suppose...

Since it was released GPL they have no legal recourse to keep anyone from starting a new project based on it as long as the terms of the GPL license are followed.
