Re: Hack: Section - Table, Category - Blog
I've seen where a lot of people are having issues after upgrading to 1.0.12 so I'm kinda putting it off - it was released right in the middle of me adding a forum and such so I'm very very leary and not looking forward to having to re-edit all these files that I've had to change already

Re: Hack: Section - Table, Category - Blog
the pagination and such is personal preference... I personally do not want my guests to have to hunt through pages upon pages of the same thing.... that's why I chose to add every single article (which are small to begin with) but I did have to hack a core file in order to accomplish that whatever y...

Re: Hack: Submit content via frontend to any section/category with one menu link
I can't seem to get this hack to work in Joomla 1.0.11, but I have discovered a nice component that will basically allow the same thing. It's called My Content, which not only allows the user to submit new content into whichever section/category that is currently available to them, it also sho...

Re: Hack: Section - Table, Category - Blog
cronlin, nice site you got there, hope you find some people! I also fail to see what this hack does, as I haven't really tried to understand, but it looks good on your site, whatever it is This is what I usually use the hack for. I have a section called avatars. Within that section are severa...

Re: Hack: Section - Table, Category - Blog

Re: Hack: Section - Table, Category - Blog
I'm still confused as to what it really does. I check the samlple link but seemed normal Joomla to me. this hack allows you to display your items in blog format while the menu items are in table format..... example: you have a section called cars and that section has 3 categories: ford, chevy...

Hack: Submit content via frontend to any section/category with one menu link
This is a nice little hack written by Ted Tieken that will allow you to have one link in your frontend for users to submit content from, in which they can not only select the section but category right there... this is an awesome addition, as it prevents a person from having tons of links for submis...

Congratulations, guys! The upgrade from M* went as smoothly as can be, even with several addons installed (components, modules, *bots). Plus I'd like to reinforce what was said earlier: it (at least the backend) does feel zippier than before. Thanks for all the hard work! Now go get some well deser...

I was wondering something. I have bookmarked the Trial Before Download - V452 and it says that it is from the Mambo Open Source Development Team, which to me would mean the developers here now.
