Yeah, that was an obvious one! (I didn't even have that mistake in my real code)

Thanks for confirming this!

Re: I want more "access levels" should I hack?

Hey ICEcoffee... I guess that's cool. Drupal defenitely has its strengths... For version 2.0 of Joomla, they are planning to implement a better ACL and content organisation (that's what I heard on some Joomla Juice podcast anyway) ... but off course... by the time Joomla 2.0 is up and running... you...

Re: Adding custom HTML pages (forms, etc)

Hey, glad I could help! And what a coincidence! In another thread, I just explained to someone else how they could create a menu in lots of levels... just read that, it'll explain to you how to connect menu-items to content items as well... (and you don't really need the extended menu component, tho...

Re: New to Joomla.. need help

muddauber... I've never done it before, but is seems to work just fine here... I did a full copy of our corporate website (about 150 pages)... Just a few details: - for some reason, where I used {mosimage} ... I didn't have the image. Don't ask me why... - the search form and the contact form didn't...

Re: New to Joomla.. need help

I think, if the number of pages is reasonably limited, it's feasible to turn it into a static site... BUT! You'll have to be sure not to have any static content. This means: ⋅ no forms! (contact us) ⋅ no logging in ⋅ no other stuff (f.e. calendar) Next step, I would ins...

Re: I want more "access levels" should I hack?

The ACL in Joomla is a difficult issue to fiddle with... In Joomla 1.5, they haven't upgraded the ACL even though this was an often asked plea... the reason was that this would break compatibility with Joomla 1.0.x ... and with plenty of extensions that are developed for it. As much as I like Joomla...

Re: Adding custom HTML pages (forms, etc)

Hi there, I think you'd better first get used to how Joomla works... and indeed, a big disadvantage of using something like Joomla for handling your forms, is that it's not as straightforward HTML/CSS/PHP anymore. Maybe a strange question, but what has to happen with the acquired data? (mailed to an...

HOWTO? Acquiring a list of all "editors" or higher? [SOLVED]

Hi, I'm practicing on writing my first Joomla (1.5) component. For this, I'd like to pull in a list of all members that have the level "Editor" (GID 19) or higher... I notice the Content component actually pulls in a full list of all members... but I can't find the exact spot where this happens when...

Re: I have been blocked

I have been blocked on the Extensions page too...

afaik, this is the only way of contacting the right people. Maybe the popup message could give some more directions on how to contact the administrator...

I'd like to regain login access (or know why I can't) too, off course :)
