svesew - dude - IN ALL DUE RESPECT - yes, you should dig deeper. dig MUCH deeper and please be sensitive with what you say. the devs are working miracles in there - they are heads down - butts up - busy. sometimes, casual remarks PARTICULARLY when they are made without FOUNDATION by people who only...

Re: Discussion about: Joomla! 1.0.8 Released
yes theres an issue with Joomla! 1.0.8 ..bug comming up like in login module. if your joomla is for production revert back to 1.0.7 until this issues will be fix at 1.0.9. lets wait for the release. My point is that I think it might be bad publicity to have available a release that has known issues...

Re: Discussion about: Joomla! 1.0.8 Released
I got lazy and didn't read ALL the posts, but I read most of them. I had a lot of the same problems upgrading that everyone else has. I did not try a fresh install though. Are the same problems existing with the fresh install? If so, is it bad to have the link up there for Jo...

Re: Discussion about: We need your Joomla! badges
I also have to say, "BADGES!? We don't need no stinking Badges!" laugh (it's a famous quote from the movie "Blazing Saddles") Sorry. It was bursting out of me. Actually, the quote was originally from a movie called The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" . Blazing saddles was just spoofing it, as i...

Re: Discussion : Logo Winner Annoucement
To be honest, from the very first time I saw the logo I felt it was a copy-cat from the Ubuntu logo. And look what I found... Strikingly similar. Not to be mean, but I don't think this logo should of been selected as winner. Edit: No the attached image is not an old variation of Ubuntu logo; I was ...

Re: Discussion : Logo Winner Annoucement
i thought all 5 logos were great. I'm disappointed that my favorite (the jBird) did not win, but that's ok because the 01 logo was my 2nd favorite. Either way, we need to just stop complaining and trying to get a 2nd vote to get our "favorites" to win. We can rig up the voting in s...

Re: New slogan
The Open Mind idea is very appealing. Since Joomla is going to be dedicated to open source: [b]Joomla! Open Source, Open Mind, Open Horizon Joomla! Source Satisfaction I like the "Open Source, Open Mind" part, not sure about the "Open Horizon" part. I could be be way off, but I think th...
