article_ seperator {<---------------THIS is the issue. There is space between _ and the seperator, and that is why it wont work.

I was thinking about this,I have not tested yet but maybe there is another way to do it without handcoding,just upload a mosimage.. is there any difference? The difference mentioned above is that you are sure that when you upgrade to a newer version of joomla, you dont have to handcode it all over ...

Not a stupid question at all,

Unpack your rar/zip file, and you should se a folder with the template name.
With an ftp programme, simply upload the template, to yoursite/templates, and in the backend of your site, assign the new template, or make it default.
