The width of a homepage layout is not defined/restricted by joomla. It simply depends on the Layout you are using.

I realised some "hands" and other kinds of logos

I guess a "creative" hand symbol will be the best  ::)

Well...i´m amazed about the hole in the hand-story. If I were in the development team, i would choose this idea. It´s great. REALLY!!
Maybe the team should make a first pick of the whole logos. It´s getting to much. and a lot of stuff is not "good" to use for joomla.

A common question: How about the colors? Shall there be only one color ,which could stand for unity. Or shall there be more colors, which stands for creativity, and so on. i made some different styles from my first try with the bird. i think the red was to agressive.



Edit: a possible slogan under the blue line could be: all in one,togheter!
the "!" means the graphic "!" - i could make it larger.
