Re: search function
Alternative is if you have the Google search box on your web browser or you use the advanced search setting on Google search itself is to specify the joomla.org Web site(s). On Google search box just add the words you are keen on looking for adn add "site:joomla.org" or to narrow it down "site:forum...

Re: JOOMLA add-ons listed by release
With over 2,000 Extensions available for all versions this would be difficult to implement and maintain. The best way is to identify your requirements and check the Extension out.

Forum Error - Lower "Mark as Unread" button not working
Hi Guys,
First time I have used it normally just use the top button which works fine, but the lower one threw up a session validation error.

Edit to add Un to title![Tongue :P](./images/smilies/tongue.gif)

Re: Hosting Providers With Very Poor Standards
Hi As far as I am aware Micro$oft do not have a department that deals with issues concerning hosting providers that give the users of their software a raw deal, so if a multi-billion resourced company does not do it how can Joomla! - a voluntary, unfunded, project be expected to? Yes it would be nic...

The intent of the posting was to see if it was possible or practical to get community members to help keep the Joomla site up to date. Actually most of the people who would have an input into, or update the Road Map have been rather busy actually doing the essentially development work. I am sure th...

As the uptake of the "official beta tester" badges seemed quite good would it be worthwhile doing a similar distinctive badge for the use of Joomla!. I know there are the banners and other bits and pieces but these [beta badges] were quite eye-catching. Just a thought and probably an M&M task but......

Hi Ian, I had similar problems with Help Screens in certain circumstances - it was - or at least appeared to be an issue with JCE - not sure if you used this though. If you did, the way I got around it was copying the HTML into an external editor and removing any erroneous code that JCE some times l...

Message-icon suggestion
Would it be of any benefit to add a mini-icon for 1.5 and 1.0 to the Message Icon drop down?
I know a lot of people do not use these (or possibly even realise they are there to be used) but this might encourage a few more and help supporters target the questions they answer.
Just a thought

Hi
Please see following image for on screen details:
Your forum ID and password only work on the forum not on any other Joomla! web site. Therefore a separate ID & PWD are needed for Extensions Directory, Demo's, Help and Developer Sites if you have access
Thanks

Not too sure what the problem is here as the Register Link is off to the left of the article, within the Login Box, on the Front Page that indicates what to do. ![Huh ???](./images/smilies/huh.gif)
