Re: Migration of SVN revision history
The reason I ask is that development on JEvents (and other projects I suspect) has completely stopped for a couple of months now while we wait for the migration to occur. With Joomla1.5beta2 out this is not very helpful timing Ack that. RSGallery2 also stopped for over a month.&nb...

That's great news Tonie. What's the date on the backup? I'm assuming commits since the backup date will have to be redone?
I have been advised Tailor is a tool that let's you migrate changesets between repositories, so that could help if needed.

Re: Migration of SVN revision history
bad news: A question about migration and svn, will the whole repository be migrated or are you only going to migrate the latest revision? The main point of this question is if I will have access to past revisions after svn has been migrated. Most likely it's the last revision only. The version...

the keywords are replaced client side then? So the repository remains unaware of the keywords, is that correct?

Re: forum for extension developers
I didn't suggest a private forum, sorry if there was a misunderstanding there. Perhaps you read in to that from when I said "strictly for developers"? I mean that's what the description of the forum would be: "for developers", meaning third party developers. In other words, post he...

Re: forum for extension developers
Sure. It would strictly be for developers of extensions. Sample posts would include: - How do I limit a feature to only Administrators and Super Administrators? - I want to include some AJAX functionality, does Joomla provide a library for that? - I'm having XXX problem with MosTabs. - H...

forum for extension developers
This post is half question half suggestion.... The 3rd Party Extensions section has boards for components, modules etc. These seem to be meant for the development of these extensions (is that the case?), but in reality have been drowned in support questions. I can see there is a need for a com...

There are no official mirrors, but there are unofficial mirrors (like in my sig). If you download from a third party, be sure to check your download against the official md5 checksums.

There are a few mirrors around if you need it in a hurry. Be sure to verify your download against the posted checksums if you download Joomla from a 3rd party.
