Re: Paperless Report Cards?
You're using 3rd party hosting and using the wrapper feature in Joomla to link to it? We are using a 3rd party browser-based Student Information System. Once we are comfortable with it among the faculty and staff, we will probably roll out parent access using the wrapper, so that there is a look an...

Re: Paperless Report Cards?

We are about to implement some such thing, but it will be separate software on...

Re: Question on Joomla components for piano teacher
I'd say that Moodle would be somewhat better suited out of the box for the functionality that you seek. It's free and open source. m Steve Can the moodle being integrated with joomla? I mean using joomla user management function? And without too much coding? Thanks! Last I knew there was a seriousl...

Start by getting Colorzilla and Web Developer extensions for Firefox. Mouse over or click on the elements you want to change, and they should give you a clue as where to begin looking. With Web Developer, click on information and select Div Order and/or Element Information, then click on the item. M...

Re: Good joomla calendar?
I had a look at this calendar and I must admit it looks good and also the features are as expected. What my concern is that this a separate package and not to be integrated as a Joomla Component, right? And therefore it need to be payed for. pieter Yes, it needs to be paid for. I am pretty sure you will only find only commercial software that will meet this need. I guess my approach was a happy medium of planning and on-the-fly evolution. I sketched out an awful lot on yellow pads while sitting at the beach this summer. Steve, Interesting info. Thanks for that. I do run a few Moodle sites, and considered using Moodle as our main CMS, but feel that Joomla has a more polished look and feel. Have you tried pasting the code in with the wysiwyg editor turned off? When I want something complex in my content item, I usually work it in a separate html editor on my local computer, then paste the code into the text field with wysiwyg off. It give a lot of flexibility.

Try this module:

Even if you have no interest in scrolling, I highly recommend this module.
