About this post..
Well this was intended as information for a solution that is working out of the box and not for promotion for me or the supplier in any way. I didn't mention all of what this machine can do so its not like propaganda or advertising. But I understand the moderator..... maybe it doesn't fit here at Jo...

Re: What happened to the forum today???
to avoid performance problems, i think the best is to use different pieces of software (joomla, drupal, phpbb, etc) all together. That is not easy always, that may end your beautiful relationship with an ugly divorce. It is like a Filipino marrying a pygmy and expecting a Punjabi child. Depends on ...

Re: What happened to the forum today???
In case you missed it, we're not returning to SMF. phpbb3 is here to stay. We feel this is the right choice for the majority, if you disagree, that is fine, no amount of complaining is going to bring SMF back, or change our minds about the right choice we made to use phpbb3. ...but...but....but...D...

Re: What happened to the forum today???
I believe everybody still have the freedom to choose Fireboard or phpBB as their forum Joomla script. If you are not familiar with phpBB please go there and understand the power of this large community and phpBB 3.0. If you like Fireboard, SMF etc better no one stops you. But please give phpBB a cha...

Re: What happened to the forum today???
This is just spreading of bad rumours to phpBB. And not true. Search for "phpBB" and then "SMF" at m and you'll see SMF with 5 pages of results, while phpBB has 34 pages. phpBB3 may be better, if they have adopted the "one click upgrade" process used by other systems. ...

I assume you are using the Rokbridge for this and there is a bug "..Regarding the lowercase username stuff..." Hope that will be fixed if this is a problem here.. http://www.rocketwerx.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=368&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&sid=aaf34f217402fc111a7a2dade2e0d9...

Re: What happened to the forum today???
I'll vote against the change due to the security problems phpBB has always had (just make sure you religiously keep the updates current, and prepare to spend hours with each update if you've done any mods). And the forums are much, much slower, so you may have some issue (or phpBB3 does). This is j...
