Re: Overlib Commands

Thanks.. Was there earlier but couldn't find the command reference.  Just found it on the site.  I also tried to add it to the dev api wiki and kept getting submit errors.

Overlib Commands

I don't know if this has driven anyone else mad but there seems to be lacking doc (maybe I just couldn't find it) for Tooltips which uses the JS overLib library.  Here is what I found. m Hope this helps. keywords: tooltips, tooltip, tooltip location, overlib documentation, overlib exambles, ove...

Re: Joomla! Forge Down?

Does the forge run on a VA hosted platform?  If so, are there alternative companies/platforms that have a better solution?  This is annoying!

Re: Virtumart Addons Section Needed

Kick butt!  Nice job.  I'll also spread the word to other VM devs so that we can get more addon's in there.  There are some really nice shopping products for Joomla and this helps people find the right addons for their cart of choice. Now if we could just get a good Auction script for...

Thanks.  If this category becomes available, I will personally go to the VM forums and let the 3pd devs know this section is available.

Virtumart Addons Section Needed

I just installed VM for the first time (customer site) and this is a great script with good support.  I noticed that there are a several (many actually) addons for VM that you have to scrounge around for in the VM forums.  It would be nice to have a VM addon section here like you have for ...

Re: I submitted a review and I want it retracted!

Hey, thanks for reading the post and taking care of that.  We don't want brain-dead posts going on the ext. site. Nothing but pollution!  my bad.  also, is there any way to get my username changed from boardjive to webjive in the forums?  i set this account up when i didn't have ...

I submitted a review and I want it retracted!

There is no link in on the Extensions page that allows you to contact the maintainer so I hope that they read this forum and can help out.  I recently posted a somewhat negative review of JPromoter.  Luckily it has not been posted.  There needs to be a form so that you can see your un...

I'm looking for CB modules and components but when you type CB or Community Builders into the search, the search comes back blank.

Re: SUGGESTION: Bookmarking for J! Extensions site??

That would be nice which follows along lines of other link sharing sites.  I just noticed that there is another thread discussing monitoring.  Maybe these two threads should be combined.  They are separate goals but along the same lines.  The other thread is more along the lines ...

Re: SUGGESTION: Bookmarking for J! Extensions site??

Here's what I do with the Forge site.  For products I want to keep up with, I monitor.  I do this because of the daunting number of projects on the forge site and it's a lot easier to go straight to these projects from my monitor list. A bookmarking feature would be a better than forge mon...

SUGGESTION: Bookmarking for J! Extensions site??

Hey, with the every growing number of extensions on the "Extensions Site", it would be great if people could bookmark their favorite modules.  This would allow me to go right to extensions of interest to me.  I know there is a BM extension out there, might be worth checking out.

Thoughts?

Feature request for Extensions site

Hey, I was perusing the extensions site (which I think is great!) and noticed one thing about the search, it doesn't include reviews.  I think having this as an option in say an "advanced search" screen would be great!  I was looking for a way to do an alumni page and someone pointed to Co...

Multi-select download

I don't think this question has been asked from the searched I did so here goes.  If a project has multiple files available for download, when you click more that one checkbox, the download but goes grey.  Is that something that can be tweaked?  It's would be great if I could select 3...

Re: Is there a way to have the tracker alert me when...

Hmm.. Boomzilla's sugguestion wouldn't be optimal.  Sounds like the Forge could use monitoring capability at the project level instead of the file level....

Re: Is there a way to have the tracker alert me when...

If I am a member of a project is that like being a developer?  If so, how hard would it be to add this option?

Thanks for the reply!

Is there a way to have the tracker alert me when...

This option may exist within the source forge but I have to ask.  Is there a way to monitor projects (a.k.a.  like file monitoring currently) for when new files or changes have been added?  The reason I ask is that there are a lot of projects created without downloads attached. I woul...

Re: Project Categorization will be coming to J!Forge

I partially agree with you on the missing files for projects.  I also stand by my point that a vague description like this is probably someone registering a project (abuse may be harsh but it's probably not a valid project) just to see what the process is like on the forge site.

Some of the abuse I think we all are referring to are projects like this:  http://developer.joomla.org/sf/projects/joomla_test

Re: Project Categorization will be coming to J!Forge

I agree with crash77.  The new forge is starting to fill up with empty projects that could be interpreted as "marketing" projects.
