So here is the situation, Joomla 1.5 has been around since about a year with simply no plan from the development team... Unfortunately, Joomla is a great success and many people starting developping components and templates and providing websites to clients based on joomla... but since the first RC...

I've been lmao  at this phrase from the announcement All the bugs fixed at these events will go straight into the trunk of 1.5 ready to be released with the upcoming RC4. you really intend to find all the bugs fix them then include then in the trunk hopefully if they get fixed they will not be ...

start with 1.0.8 as has been pointed out on this thread before 1.5 vwil be released as a beta - and is such will be  suitable for a test site and not a live site get 1.0.8 running on your new host - give thrid party developers a bit of time to iron out any compatibility problems with the upgrad...

do people complaining about timescale  read the bug reports on the alpha version? they are here on this forum.. you can see what still needs sorting out .. and some of the stuff the devs have been busy sorting out. yeah the beta is coming but its pretty obvious there's been a load a work to do!...

yeah - not meant as a moan - just a gentel reminder case it got overlooked

Great what you are doing here and I 'm sure it is the least of your worries right now but some parts of the the forum board are hard to read.  In particular it is hard to read quotes in posts against the purple background! Any chance of changing the colour scheme - or at least that bit of it.&n...
