What kind of result would you want to load with a delete query?

Use $database->Query() instead

aser, please read tonies message again. He said, that xe-media was registering a lot of accounts to push their own extensions, which is not allowed. You also give the impression that you are doing this. Also, your language is very rude. Besides this, yes, the support a developer is giving is a reaso...

Adding Joomla version to extension title

Hi folks, I want to suggest adding a small icon that indicates if an extension is written for 1.0 or 1.5 to the title of each extension. When 1.5 is out, there will be some confusion on which extension can be used for which version and I think this wil get even more complicated when 2.0 is coming ou...

colddog, just because they have a non-US TLD in their mailadress or they claim to be from some small, poor island, does not mean that those are really non-US citizens with little money and all. Blog-Archive on dev.joomla.org shows wrong date

Hi folks,
the blog archive on dev.joomla.org on the lower left side just shows the year and not the month of the blogs.

as you can see, i just installed the alpha2 - version and i am keen on reporting bugs. Hi Hajo, you should be aware that the alpha2 is as old as the cookies from last year... There have been BIG changes since then and to have a version to report bugs for, you should get a SVN copy. look in the deve...

Re: Discussion about : Joomla! 1.5 is on the Horizon ...

Hello rickfry, please take a look at the roadmap. That is the update for the release date. On the registering thing: No, you don't have to really register for the copy. You can get the most recent version allways from the SVN. I'm not sure, but I think you have to register for that one. (Been a whil...

You should definitely update. The holes closed in the versions after 1.0.1 far outweigh the problems with 1.0.8

Re: Discussion about: Joomla! 1.0.8 Released

Joomla 1.0.8 fixes some sever security issues. You should stick with it. If you look at the developer blog in the section Rey Gigataras, you'll find a list of threads with a solution to the known problems in 1.0.8. The developer blog can be found on the developer network if you scroll down. (Develop...

You can add your extensions yourself. That was the idea of the whole thing. The team prepares the site to be launched and after that, the developers maintain it.

To clearify Amys statement: 1.5 supports translating all "static" strings in both front- and backend. Translating content has to be done via Joom!fish.

Re: Discussion about : Joomla! 1.5 is on the Horizon ...

ACL1/2 will be combined into one release. Due to design problems, there is no satisfying way to do this in a two step process. Although we renamed it to enhanced user and access managment, because it will re-do the whole code in that area. The roadmap has been shortened since the devs are unsure wha...

Re: Discussion about : Joomla! 1.5 is on the Horizon ...

Hi Asphyx, hi Tarantinoarchives, let me correct on that one. Joomla 1.5 will need a new, clean install, since the filestructure has changed so dramatically, that everything else would not be feasible. Because Joomla 1.5 uses UTF-8 to store the data, you will need to either convert your db or import ...
