Re: Joomla People Interested in Joint Efforts

Hi Jalil, The offer is permanent. Joomlatech.com was always intended to act as a home for Joomla projects that have no dedicated site of their own. As a regular user and purveyor of Joomla extensions, I found it rather frustrating to try and evaluate a product that had no dedicated support or demo s...

Re: Joomla People Interested in Joint Efforts

Yes, there have been some good options discussed here and whatever the decision, the success will be based solely on the participation. My site is just sitting there, so if you want to use it, great! My feelings won't be hurt if not. I think the interest to bring people together in more of a "commun...

Re: Joomla People Interested in Joint Efforts

Although I can't contribute with code...I do have a domain and hosting I would be happy to provide for use by this project. Joomlatech.com is not currently being used for anything and already has a bridged forum set up.

Re: Google Calendar on Joomla Front Page

In case anyone else stumbles over this...  I went to insert the iframe code using the HTML button on the editor in my new module and completely forgot about the fact that you can only insert this code when all wysiwyg editors are disabled (via Global Config). Must be my head  Anywho, hope...

Re: Google Calendar on Joomla Front Page

After posting, I went and had a look at the code. I'm not sure if there is an actual module where you can input the parameters for the calendar, but I was able to achieve the same results by pasting the iframe code into a new module. This is the code: <iframe src="http://www.google.com/calendar/embe...

Re: Rant - Feedback if you want

If your the owner of the site made with joomla, why would you need an affiliate url?? Im saying that titled urls should be allowed for sites that are joomla only.. I agree that affiliate linking will fill the boards with spam and cause people to register just to post useless posts to have their lin...

Re: FAQ: How to have a Seamless SMF + CB Integration

hmm.... negative - still having this thing... strange: i don't get it  I have been reading over this thread with particular interest because I am working on a high-profile e-commerce site that will depend on the use of CB as a user control panel and uses SMF as the forum component. Two things ...

However, I do see that there are rss links to the developer blog and comments, etc. I'm looking for a way to pipe a newsfeed in from specific projects at the forge, so I can dis...
