Re: Discussion about Joomla! 1.0.7 Release
Ok Sen, here is my configuration. Tell me if I got it wrong: I have public_html/joomla as my subfolder. My htaccess.txt has been renamed to .htaccess in the subfolder. I set up a subdomain as m (not my domain, just a clients) I turned SEF on, Joomla's default SEF. When I go to joomla.pioneerw...

Re: Discussion about Joomla! 1.0.7 Release
I guess the 1.0.6-->1.0.7 was a good learning experience. I guess it's better to just take the lesson and move on. There's no point lamenting over it. As long as you clearly document it, so that no more users spend time installing 1.0.6, it's all good. You guys have been doing an excellent job, dedi...

Re: Discussion about Joomla! 1.0.7 Release
Does you subfolder have it's own .htaccess file? Yes, it does. But it doesnt help. I have another Joomla installation of 1.0.4, with exactly identical configuration which works just fine. I guess 1.0.7 has a bug if you install it as a subdomain in a subdirectory, with SEO enabled? I had installed i...

Re: Discussion about Joomla! 1.0.7 Release
I think 1.0.7 has a bug with SEF. From several posts that I read, it seems SEF works if Joomla is installed in the webroot, but if it's installed in a subdirectory, it gives a 404.
Could some developer check this please?
