Are there any plans for joomla day in the uk anytime this year?

Is there a list available of the discontinued extensions, it might be usefull to publish it as other developers might take up the development of some of them. I just started another post about this same issue... Why .. because the download links in this part is now stale... forge.joomla where the link points to does not work again ((since april 30)) I would like to try jomblog despite all that I have read about it... but I cannot find it anywhere.. Can so...
