Re: news.joomla.org
There has been a back-log of news items and if yours was unlucky enough to be one of the ones that just didn't make it (submitted earlier than mid-February) then we apologise. However, if you have been watching the news recently, you will see that many commercial template items are present. See here...

Re: Discuss: Ladies and Gentlemen... here
How exactly did the decision come about to confirm a gold release? Was it simply a a bug tracker option? We classify the bugs in the Tracker in a particular way. Our condition for Gold release was that we had dealt with Very High and High Priority items. These are issues that, amo...

Re: Discuss: Ladies and Gentlemen... here
We've had an amazing few weeks leading up to this - up and down like a roller coaster as many would know - but we've made it. It's been thrilling to see so many old and new hands pulling together to get us to this stage. The list of thankyou's is far to long to type here - I know some of you p...

I want to give a big thankyou to everyone that participated in the bug squash event recently. It's given the project a huge kick along, not to mention it was a ton of fun for a lot of people.

Re: Published reviews not meeting review rules/guidelines
Phil, you have to look at these things from a couple of angles. You need to ask yourself who are the reviews trying to benefit. If you are of the opinion that they should give you feedback that you can process and make your product better, I think you've missed the point of the JED - it'...

Re: Discuss: Joomla! Wins 'Best CMS Award' Again!
The great one-two punch of Drupal-Joomla! has won the day again - if we work hard we'll tie the score next year and kick it in 2010 Seriously, a well deserved win from Drupal - a little sad, hehe, but certainly an honour to play second fiddle to a project like that. But what really thri...

Unfortunately the venue I was looking at needed liability insurance and the cost of that didn't make the day viable at this stage. Might be able to do something in November - will just have to see how we go.
