Thanks for that.  I'm obliged to you.  I can now get on with the installation.  I think that would be a useful thing to add to the Joomla front page of your web site, right next to the 'download' button?  It would be reassuring to first timers.

I did look, honest, but I couldn't find anything relating to how much space is required for the installation, and that's what I need to know.  You buy a piece of software and on the box it tells you how much free space you should have on your PC. I have an account with an ISP which offers 50MB ...
