Re: Logging into the forum never works the first time (password errors)
Hi, thanks but the whole point is I want it to auto login and save in the firefox passwords. If I do your method it only works if I just close the browser and not logout which I don't want to do as I clear my cache every time I close my browser and only passwords are saved, not cookies. I guess ther...

Logging into the forum never works the first time (password errors)
Whenever I come to this forum in firefox (I don't use IE) my name and password auto show up in the login and password boxes, but when I click the button to login or press enter, it does NOT log me in, but gives me another page where my login and password are again, then I push the login again and it...

Re: JoomlaForge usability issues from a non-developers point of view
Hi Billiken, I agree with your first post, I made a post related to this requesting the exact use of the setup at mamboforge.net as was possible as I think that site's setup and useabiliy are as close to perfect of a site that I have ever used, I really love mamboforge.net I don't know why it is not...

Re: Please implement JOOMLA JOURNALS section
A JOURNAL section does not at all need to take any time of moderators/administrators, all you need to do is put a swear filter on or whatever you want like that, because ONLY the originator of each individual topic ("journal") in the journal section will be responsible for his own postings (journal ...

Re: Please implement JOOMLA JOURNALS section
All I am asking for is another link to be added in the forum sections, where everyone can have their own forum topic which will become their own personal JOOMLA JOURNAL as it were. Each member of the forum can make their own topic which will become their personal post of all the entries for their Jo...

Re: developer.joomla.org extremily confusing site, please totally revamp useabil
Oops my post was moved to this forum, then I just checked and there were similar posts showing some were also not happy about developer.joomla.org. But a response in one by spacemonkey said: For now let's just say that we were terribly unhappy with mamboforge (I personally managed it for quite some ...

developer.joomla.org extremily confusing site, please totally revamp useability
Please totally revamp the whole setup, graphics and useability and understandability, etc of developer.joomla.org, I find it UTTERLY confusing and extremily hard to use and figure out even now after months of visiting. Please start over and follow the setup and ease of use of m, that site is VERY us...

Re: Imagine all the people - John Lennon
My vote is forget irc, that is useless as far as I am concerned and not at all practical or userfriendly whatsoever to people who either randomly or purposely visit these forums to learn or talk about Joomla stuff. Someone should today just install the AJAX shoutbox for joomla or some similar simple...

Re: Imagine all the people - John Lennon
CORE TEAM DOES NOT HAVE TO promise to be in any live chats, that is not what anyone is expecting I don't think. I just think it is just a very good idea to build friendships and to hang out and chat with anyone who is out there online on the site at any point in time, whether those chat users know a...

Re: Perhaps an odd question but why is this here?
I don't get it, this is a forum man, not a presentation website, some setups are better used for forums, some setups are better used for presentation type websites. A forum is always better geared for developer types rather then regular surfers just because it is a list view and ordered in the forum...

Please implement JOOMLA JOURNALS section
I just had this cool idea. Joomla User Journals Section Most people don't even take notes on what they do in details at all, but an individual's daily life if recorded in a daily/weekly journal type of entry would greatly help EVERYONE, developers and non programmer type users! I am ask...

Re: Please make joomaforge.net exactly like layout of mamboforge.net
"GForge is based on SourceForge.net code base from around 1999/2000. SourceForge.net continues to run that php code base....etc "
I am not familiar with what boomzilla is talking about, but please see my updated post at the top for more specifics of what I meant to say more clearly.

Re: Please make a exact joomaforge site exactly like http://mamboforge.net
I mentioned I had been to the joomla sites including joomlaforge, and sorry man, but purpose and reality are very different for the useability of joomlaforge, maybe you don't know about useability, that site is nowhere near as useable as the setup of mamboforge, I thought this would be obvious...

Please make joomaforge.net exactly like layout of mamboforge.net
The joomla sites I have now visited are VERY confusing in their graphics and do NOT have good useability. The only mambo site I ever went to (and I went like every day), way more then I even went to their forums is this page m The setup and useability is about the best I have ever seen on a website....
