Re: Joomla! 1.5 Beta-2 — The Developers' and Designers' Revolution!
Please note that Joomla 1.5 beta 2 is incompatible with Community Builder 1.0.2 (unlike Joomla 1.5 beta 1). Trail, backend seems to work ok under legacy mode - send me a mail if you continue to have problems. Note to everyone wanting to turn on "Legacy Mode". It's a plugin. Select "System" fr...

Wierd stats on forge ...
Beat and I noticed a problem with the stats reported on the forge. Please look at the stats on the CB project here: m Upto Sept of this year the total downloads show around 25K for the Community Builder project. For the month of October (current) the stats have sky-rocketed to over 90K - as nice as ...

Re: New category created
We have made available a new category called 'Extension Specific Plugins' in JED: m At the moment, only CB Plugins are accepted. I'm still waiting from the developer of JCE (Ryan) and see if they would like to have one there. To Lee, ot2sen, and the rest of the team .. thank you for your efforts an...

Re: Description of a 'Review'
Have been following this thread for a while ... Reviews should be based on substantial user experience regarding the subject at matter. Doesnt have to be significant, but should be substantial. A reviewer that spends 10 mins on a 10,000 line component is unfair and does not help the user community f...

Re: New Extension Typ request
Hi ivo.apostolov, These plugins will off-course be included in the Extensions Directory if they are submitted by the developer. But we will not create a special extension type icon, like 'CB plugin' or 'JCE plugin'. They are plugins, and will be listed as plugins Looked for a definition of 'p...

Re: New Extension Typ request
The Community Builder website is the correct place to list compatibility for this, not the official Joomla! Extensions Directory. So far, it seems they are doing a good job of listing their plugins (look in the "(OLD) CB 1.0 RC2" category): ⋅ http://www.joomlapolis.com/component/option,co...

Re: New Extension Typ request
Thanks for your suggestion, nant. Other extensions have these component specific plugins, and we might consider if theres a clever way to organize these plugins. Don´t think that another extension type would be the solution, cause that would soon become crowded and unclear then (CB plugin, JCE plug...

New Extension Typ request
I don't know how difficult this is but it would be super if it could be done. There are an increasing number of plugins being developed for the Community Builder suite. I have currently submitted one to be included in the extensions site. It would be nice if a new extension type is allowed - maybe c...
