Re: The Adams Street Shul (www.AdamsStreet.org)
You have the nice basis of a site but I would look at integrating the calendar rather than use an external one. For your shabbat times and sedra are you just manual entering them each week? If you are would you be interested in some automatic joomla modules thhat do it for you? I've started working ...

Re: Suggestion for the Joomla!Day Charter
This is completely off topic and has no relevance to the subject of this thread. If you understood the joomla structure you will note that this is a team and not a working group. Please try to refrain from turning the forum into your personal chatroom. If you want to ask questions of an individual n...

Re: Suggestion for the Joomla!Day Charter
@Amy
The Charter is avaiable to people who ish to organise Joomla!Day events
@ibnhafsun
I take your point about the information from the event being available after the event to those who were unable to attend. The event team are currantly working on some ways for this to be facilitated easier

Re: Forge Downtime Update
There is a bit of a difference between a debian download of several gigabytes and a joomla extension of 1mb. The point about a secure trusted downlaod site is valid and that is why the S&I team have worked hard to get the new improved service online asap

Re: Make version number mandatory when reviewing
Thanks for considering this. Speaking from recent experience I discounted an extension based on a review. Not finding anything else I returned to that extension and tried it out only to find that all the comments in the review had been addressed by a later release. Of course the extension developer ...

The only "past history" is that Phil was the first "full time" developer of Mambo and then Joomla extensions and I guess some people just dont like that.

Re: Voting rigged by non reviewers?
Please note that this "votw rigging" applies to ALL etensions and not just commercial ones. In fact there are several Free/GPL extensions which regularly see themselves having their rating artificially lowered/raised by vote rigging. Fortunatley the JED team do as much as they possibly can to preven...

Re Official 3pd vulerability extensions list
Can the decision to move this list to the help site be rconsidered please as you cant subscribe to notifications on the help site and that is an important function of this list in my opinion.
