If you look at the actual entries often times there will be an "editors note" which tells you that some form of payment or another is needed. Thanks for the update ot2sen, its nice to see better organization regarding this matter than before.

Image Alt Tag Reading 1.5 RC1 Instead of RC2
On the homepage of joomla.org there's a cute little image on the left-hand side to download the latest version of Joomla 1.0.13 and 1.5 RC2. However, if you roll your mouse over the image the alt tag for usability reads RC1 still, instead of RC2. This isn't a show stopper, but perhaps you still want...

Most open source platforms that I've seen end with .org, so that is something to keep in mind when you try to enter in their homepage without Google's help.

Re: Discuss: Joomla's 100k Ain't Bad!
Sadly, that resource still has not added us, after almost 6 months.. not a single submission to the website has been approved.. so, well, I don't rely on it anymore now. That's downright shameful of them. I wonder if they have some sort of interest in cross-promoting the other boards on their index...

Hide User-Specified Extensions
It would be great if we could hide extensions that we know without a shadow of a doubt that we'll never end up using. Often times users brose through a certain category, but the current pagination setup displays all results with no way of permanently filtering out he ones that a specific user may no...

Re: Do you guys plan on doing anything about the joomla extensions search?
While we are talking about the search, let me make one quick suggestion. It would be great if the license selection was a multi-select (control+click) list instead of the current radio button setup. Sometimes it is helpful to search multiple licenses at the same time, but not ALL licenses. Thanks fo...

Re: Bigger Sizes / Bumper Stickers.....
Following up on the bumper sticker idea, how about those magnetic ones? You can transfer them easily to any metal surface and unlike the traditional ones, they don't leave a sticky resedue. Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but we could offer both. I'd put one on my car and transfer it whenever I'...

Re: Merchandise Suggestions and Requests Discussion
How about a small USB Flash Drive that has Joomla pre-loaded on it? People could plug it into their machine and show their friends the CMS without having to setup a webserver. As Joomla is fairly light as downloads are concerned, we could make the overall size of the flash drive only a few megabytes...

Reviews Not Being Published on Extensions Site?
Here's my user profile link on the Extensions site: m I write a few reviews per week for both commercial and open source extensions. The last review that was published was May 31st. I've submitted multiple reviews since that time, however I haven't received any email confirmation of approval, nor do...

Re: SEO board
I think this was suggested awhile back, however I don't recall the conclusion of that discussion. For webmasters that are always trying to get a little more out of SEO, this would be a welcome addition. I'm surprised nobody else responded to this thread. Granted, this is a high-traffic forum.

Also, this forum doesn't link Joomla databases with SMF databases. It is a completely stand-alone install that is wrapped inside of the Joomla skin. SMF is an awesome platform, but for a smaller site Fireboard looks like a good option. Hopefully we'll see the Fireboard team add more features and giv...

Sort Extention Reviews By Different Variables
Hey all, I just finished browsing the Newegg.com site and I must say they have some nice features when it comes to feedback. Joomlacode.org - Hide Email From Public Profiile View
Quick suggestion: Would it be possible to hide (or give users the option to toggle public/private) our email addresses on Joomlacode.org profiles? I see there is a no spam variable already in there, but let's just say that some of us are extra cautious! An alternative would be to have some sort of e...

As of the time of this post I'm having problems accessing the forge. It keeps trying to load, but it has been over three minutes for a single page. It hasn't timed out yet, but I'm still trying.
