Just saw that forge.joomla.org is blacklisted at cbl.abuseat.org and xbl.spamhaus.org

Not sure how popular these blacklists are but here is the link for abuseat.org:
http://cbl.abuseat.org/lookup.cgi?ip=66.35.250.233

well why would a site like forge.joomla.org be blacklisted. I'm just puzzled about that. Unless of course the term blacklist has differs from the commonly understood negative connotation  ;)

A site gets blacklisted when someone submits an email to the blacklist from a source they 'think' is sending out spam. Sadly someone (a few people) must have done that with emails sent out by the forge. This is no big deal as the IP operator will get the IP de-listed soon.

Ok, Let him do it again! You're (ie: 'The Forge') back on the RBLS! The notifications are back in my spamfolder since a few days.

Check out: http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/ip4r.ch?ip=66.35.250.233

Part of the headers i've received:

Hope you get whitelisted soon. Maybe a small step towards hardening against spammers and being blocked is using a SPF record on your domain(s). Because at this moment there isn't any (check: http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/spf.ch?se ... 35.250.233 )
Easy to implement and although it's not a waterproof solution; it's a start...

All Right! As of 2006-04-03 17:34 GMT all the listed entries are cleared. I realy hope they will implement the SPF records too!

Bedankt Tonie!
