Alternatives to CiviCRM

I would like to integrate CiviCRM to Joomla, but I’m having troubles activating the CiviCRM component due to server restrictions. What other alternatives are out there? Which are pro and cons of those opotions?

I had the same issue. I finally decided to change servers.
