JACL and CivicCRM

Post by bsimpson » Sat Mar 15, 2008 2:18 am

Hello: We putting together a proposal for a client who really needs the functionality of CivicCRM as they are a statewide non-profit organization. We would like to be able to limit the site administrators only to the normal Joomla content and perhaps two components: CivicCRM and Mosets Tree.

Is this possible using something like JACL or JUGA? I've installed JACL and CivicCRM on my LocalHost, but can't figure out if you can get JACL (or JUGA) to limit their access to individual components.

Thanks in advance

Bob,

This is definitely something you can do with JUGA. JUGA v1.0 will allow you to restrict admin-side access to specific components and tasks.

For more info, check out http://www.dioscouri.com/juga/

Thanks!
