Need extension to book rooms and show calendar Topic is solved

I'm working on a Joomla website for my church.  (Current progress is up at http://www.uuca.net/joomla.) I'm hoping someone here has found a similar solution for their church...

What we need is this:

1.  Shows what's going on when (public access).
2.  Allows registered users to book space, choosing from a list of rooms.  They would choose the time and the duration.
3.  Allows for space to be reserved for the same time every week or month.  (So worship services don't have to be re-entered every week.)
4.  But we have a different summer worship schedule, so you should be able to book space, say, every week until a chosen date.

I'd be willing to give up #2 if everything else worked.

Is there an extension out there like this?  I saw several calendar extensions and some space reservation extensions, but I'm getting the impression that there isn't anything that's a mix of the two.

There are two components available that do what you want -- individually -- but when you need to make a choice, choose the one that is the most important or the core of what you need to do. The two components are:

1. Events Calendar

2. Reservations (4 currently available)

From what I understand you are saying, the reservation system is the most important. I'd suggest that you start with number 2, Reservations. You can easily build a calendar from that.
