we will take part in the upcoming Linux Day (1.-2. March 2008). The location is Chemnitz - Saxony (Germany).
This is my first Joomla!-presentation - so please be patient when you recognize some stupid questions of mine.
With some other guys we want to introduce Joomla! to the audience as well. Giving answers to beginner questions, a helping hand by installing third party addons and (what else) adulating 1.5 release.
We prefer to do nothing wrong - above all towards the Joomla! community.
Ghosty told me to make a notice about our participation here to get useful help AND to be instructed what to do.
One of my open questions is - how to present Joomla! out-of-box. As a nice giveaway I prefer a Joomla!-CD - not only with Joomla!-Sourcecode as ZIP bt with a running webserver. I guess I've read about a mini webserver strating without install from CD.
Such a webserver including Joomla! (1.0.13 and 1.5) would be a perfect giveaway.
Does someone have some knowledge about that? Maybe there already exits such a Joomla!-out-of-box?
