Hello All.. I couldn't find anywhere else to put this..
I had my username & password saved on my browser and it was there for so long I have forgotten it.
I tried to "get reminder email" only the email address which I registered with is not the address which I had altered it to in my control panel and it no longer exists. - So I was unable to get an email reminder.
I clicked on the link in the login section "board administrator" which pulled up an email address to "[email protected]" which is as the email suggests an undeliverable name..

You have specified an incorrect password. Please check your password and try again. If you continue to have problems please contact the Board Administrator.
I couldn't post anywhere to login as I could not log in.. So as a last resort I have re-registered, but I would like to use my old account and not this new one..
Any ideas please?
Also is there any chance someone could put a link to the Board Administrator that works in the login pages.
New Look Forum.. Login difficulties Topic is solved

Re: New Look Forum.. Login difficulties
Same here.. I'm a longtime member (back to the early days of Joomla!) and couldn't log in today. Retreiving my old login account wasn't possible; so I had to reregister. There should be a form or something where you could request your username if you don't know it anymore; but you know (duh!) the e-mail address you registered with. In my case I'm not sure what my username was anymore. And yes, I should keep the first welcome mail; but that was more than 3 years ago...
Anyway, I'll PM a mod in the mean time....
