Developers gone missing Topic is solved

I have a great Joomla site and so does another local business owner - our problem has been that the developer is no longer supporting either of our businesses and it is very difficult for us to handle further development. We have spoken to some so called Joomla knowledgeable developers and his suggestion was to tear down the site and re-build it. I LOVE my site and know that the other site has all the components in place but we can't find anyone who can look them and work out the glitches. Is there anywhere that we can find competent developers that can help us?
