Any plans for a Joomla!Day in the UK? Or at least closer than Hungary?

as much as I know not, but I've seen a few post concering User Groups near London, maybe you should check some previous threads here and contact the guys maybe you could do something together ?

Yes I am looking into organising a UK Joomla day for next year, probably around Aug/Sept. However it wont be in London. A lot of these things always happen in London all the main expos etc happen in London so I am heading a bit further North/West, in fact I am looking at having it in Aberystwyth In Mid Wales. It has good transport links and will also allow people from the North, Wales and Ireland to attend somewhere a bit different.
Aberystwyth is also a stunning backdrop to host an event, but small enough to be friendly.
I am trying to set up a Joomla Wales group, but as there is nothing in the UK at the moment I am happy for it to be a Joomla UK group and if and when it grows, members can splinter off and set up a group event in London

Hi,
Aberystwyth is an excellent choice for a venue, especially as I live in Shrewsbury which is only a short train ride away.
