New Non Profit Site

Post by jsdd3 » Sun Nov 06, 2005 2:50 pm

Hi Guys

I have been tasked to put a news web site together for the largest non profit organisation in Africa. I have chosen Joomla as the platform, and would like to know if you know any person/company who would be interested in designing a template.

I can offer a permanent link to your site on the front page if you are interested.

Hello,

My name is Jason Rodriguez & I am a professional web designer and also VP of http://www.globalconservationassistance.com , a Non-for-Profit group designed specifically to assist NGO's with technological assistance. I am fairly new to Joomla but I am in the process of developing templates for various sites. We have a vested interest in Africa as you can see from our website & various projects.

I am interested in seeing what your needs are. Please contact us regarding your project.

Thank you in advance,

Jason

What kind of templates have you got :) am working for an African development organisation and I am renovating a site am interested in using Joomla to do this as it is so easy to update and facilitate, the NGO I am Operational Director for and it desperately needs something that is easier to manage and that has floating drop down menus going down the sides or using the middle menus and a bit more space for image content on pages.  Want to add many more sections and reorganise the navigation menus but am so restricted. The current website is here Technological Educational & Scientific Development for Africa (Tes-da)

Thanks in advance

Interesting,

I would love to hear more about these projects!

Personally I've lived in Kenya for 6 years and my firm, Design Guru, has done work for the IDRC's East and Southern Regional Office as well as some other NGOs and grassroots organisations in East Africa.

Count us in, though I don't think we have time for the next month or so to do it pro bono.

I  obviously worded my post wrong. If any of you guys have any spare  templates for an African charity site please visit this post http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,18184.0.html.

Many Thanks

Kili
