dissatisfied with search on extensions site
On the extensions page, i wanted to find a module that would display selected content items so i searched for "content item module". But since "content item" and "module" are such generic terms in Joomla, the search didn't produce the results i was looking for. In fact, i didn't find anything relevant until page 5. The same search on Google (search "content item module site:extensions.joomla.org") gave me exactly what i was looking for, first hit. An extension called "Content Item Module".
This problem seemed familiar- sure enough, i had a similar issue over a year ago.
Any chance the search feature on the Extensions site could be modified for better results?

Where did you move this post? I have had the same issue, and would like to know the answer.
When a post is moved "to the appropriate forum," it would be fair to point the way.

A clear question:
What IS the correct forum??????
You keep saying the question has been moved to the correct forum, but you don't give a link where it can be found!

I am confused.. you are here, you can see the forum up the top where this thread resides. You even have a link by clicking on the thread title up the top.
Perhaps you can rephrase your question and I can attempt to answer it for you?

I'm in the process of building a new site based on 1.5 RC4. But the extensions do not indicate Joomla! version compatibility.
Any chance of a set of [searchable] version "ticks" for each extension?
