User Registration/Password Protecting Part of Site

Post by lbucher » Mon Jan 14, 2008 5:57 pm

I want to upload a training course to my Joomla site and only have it accessible by visitors that I provide a user name and password to.  Then they will use the Login form and be redirected to the first page of the course.

Web site visitors w/o a user name and password will not be able to self-register and cannot access the course.

Is this possible?  Does anyone have suggestions as to how I should get his done?

Thanks

In the global config, set "Allow User Registration:" to No.Them implement something like http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,1483.0.html

You will need to manually create accounts in the backend.
