What a wonderful moment:

Klicking on the "1.5 Stable"-Button was such a great feeling I've been waiting for so long.
I still remember the Mambo-times and the days when Joomla! came into life and now we have the 1.5 ready to go.

And I still remember me reading the developer announcements and thinking "Yeah! Great Idea and THIS will be just the right way to go!"

Thanks to all the people who have been working on the code, who have done a tremendous job and who have made my day today.

New toys, thanks to all!

We've had an amazing few weeks leading up to this - up and down like a roller coaster as many would know - but we've made it. It's been thrilling to see so many old and new hands pulling together to get us to this stage.  The list of thankyou's is far to long to type here - I know some of you personally and have seen you crack the all-nighters - thankyou.  But thanks also needs  anyone who has taken the time to help with testing, with docs, with release announcements ... even if you've only made a couple of posts, you have been a part of the process and should be proud that you've been a part of what really is a fantastic project to be involved in.

Let's make 2008 the year that 1.5 takes over the world :)

Congratulations to the core team, the developer working group, the bug squashers, and all those who helped make Joomla 1.5 a reality.  All your efforts have made this a fantastic day in Joomla's history.

Great to see this announcement, I thought we were a few months off. Great work guys.

I got one suggestion don't know where i can post it, but we need to somehow allow the extentions to be filtered by version numbers they work on.

I'm finding it real difficult to find 1.5 extentions among all those 1.0.x extensions.

Thank you all!

Great to see that you made Q1 2008! I was a bit worried there for a while :-)

From now on, I will focus on only making products for 1.5, truly amazing API for us developers!

I just want to personally thank everyone who put so much blood, sweat and tears into making Joomla 1.5 as good as it is.  It really is just so much better than 1.0 in every way.  A great team effort!

It really is a lovely beast you have produced and I for one am enjoying running around the code and testing its envelope.
