I'm frequently logged out automatically

Hi,

the forum software always logs me out while I type a message. I suppose this is because my broadband access provider changes my IP dynamically every minute or so. Would be nice if the automatic logout could be prevented somehow.

Isn't the easier option for all to investigate why your ISP keeps changing your IP address?

Hi,
today I'm not frequently logged out automatically. I have no idea what is different today.
Perhaps the admin reduced or turned off the IP to session binding in phpbb3 ?

Meanwhile I learned that changing my IP address is caused by my broadband modems' access software, which is set to cut the connection after 90 seconds of inactivity (no data are sent while I type in the forum - until I click submit or something else). So while the session cookie should still be active, I'll receive a new IP (new connection) when I hit the preview or submit button.

If I understand this correctly, people who use i.e. TOR or proxys should have (had?)the same problem.
