This program worked with mambo-phpshop, which is the old version of VirtueMart.  You might try to contact them to see if the program is still working iwth Joomla.

i've had a play about with iDev as stated above. Great little affiliate tool does everything you need and i think its around $50

I've just started looking in to the whole affiliate marketing industry and i couldnt believe how big it actually is just goes to show how well they can impersonate the real merchants at times

Your own Affiliate programme for Joomla! and Virtuemart

We are a group of Joomla! And Virtuemart users.
We are delivering Open Source Affiliate solution for Joomla in a short timeframe.

It´s been hundres of posts asking for Affiliates module for Joomla and Virtuemart.
If you really need this feature, If you really want this problem solved...

There is a solution and it has been discused in VM forums several times.
After 3 moth searching for a programmer that would not take all my cash in exchnange...
I have received a good offer at Joomlancers from a developer (850$):

A really good price for such a developement, but too much for me to buy it alone, It would take ages until I recover selling ink cartridges ;-(

Now let´s say 20 or 30 people are interested in having it done, my proposal is to split this amount between all people interested...
That would mean a share of just 28 US$. The payment is trougth escrow.
Finally, we will offer the software free to the community under GNU.
Of course, if somone around here is willind to do the programming job for the same or less money, welcome!

We have already funded 740$, we need only 8-10 more people to have it done.
But we still need developers and economical support.

If you have real interest on having VM affiliates solved at last, well... Just do it!
Reply to this post or any of the older posts and state the max amount you would be willing to pay for it.
Also specify what are your needs, which features would you like it to have.

This is not a warrant that everything will be implemented, just initial list to work with.
There will probably be 2 or more developement "phases" wich wil start with a very basic functionality and grow over time.

Affiliate interface under user´s menu:
Affiliate account creation page in user´s menu. for self signup.

Basic affiliate results page to see own sales and cash earned, under user´s menu.
Show page where to get affiliate links and choose banners.

Admin pages:
Approve new affiliate accounts.

General list of affiliates with:
Total number of sales, total ammounts of sales. payable and pendant of confirmation.
Detail view of an affiliate with same data plus detailed sales and ammounts for every tranaction.
