I personally haven't been able to reach anything on developer.joomla.org since yesterday.

Seems to me the download server is offline again.

Working fine for me here right now.

Can you do a traceroute to developer.joomla.org and post the results here

There is something running in your browser that makes the developer site think you are a search bot. What browser are you running?

For me, Peerguardian2 was the problem. Developer.joomla.org is in the p2p list of that firewall tool and is therefore being blocked. The entry in that list is named 'Savvis Sourceforge Split2 End Range'.

If for some reason there is good reason for the ip range to be in the PG2 blocklist then so be it. But PG2 is a popular piece of security software so this inormation may be of some use to other people having trouble accessing Developer.joomla.org.
