New project approval

Post by chadness » Fri Dec 02, 2005 8:30 pm

I created a project a few days back (I believe 11/28) and haven't heard anything yet.  I know approval is usually fairly swift on these, and I'm wondering if someone with access could check the approval queue.  There were some forge problems around that time (new accounts couldn't be made), and so something may have happened, though I did get the message about it needing to be approved.

I've experience the same as chadness (I also tried to create a new project a few days ago...) Is there an offical pollicy on what kinds of projects are acceptable? (this was for a new set of admin button icons....)

or do I just have to be more patient?

New project approval is a manual process.  I don't have access to the queue myself, but I can tell you that it may take a few days.  Please be patient, especially during the holidays.

Thanks

hello
im on the same situation, and i understand the holidays delay.

i have no track of my request.
(i dont remember if i really submitted...( maybe late in a morning...))

is it possible to add a tab on the "my workspace > my projects"
with "projects waiting for aproval" and value like "queued" or "refused" ?

or just receive a confirmation mail when submiting for a new project.

maybe something exists somewhere that i hadent seen ?

Greetings:

I have two projects on the forge dealing with Arabic.

http://developer.joomla.org/sf/sfmain/d ... rt_at_aljo

and

http://developer.joomla.org/sf/sfmain/d ... s.aljoomla

However, only the first one appears in the public list of projects. I can see the second one only when I login and see it as part of the list of my projects.

I would like to delete the first one (the longer URL) and keep the second (the shorter URL). I also want the second to appear in the list of public projects.

Thanks for your help.

Is there anyone who can help here?

My PM to masterchief was blocked. My other PM to another support person is still unanswered.

Normally I should take about a week before the project is approved or rejected. We get alot of project request and it takes some time to get through them every weekend.
