Make up your mind... you did it because you don't like the name? Or because the system wasn't working so you were trying to rectify the situation? In which case, I'd have to ask the followup - who gave you the authority/responsibility to fix the problem (if there even was one)?

Please stop ArtFusion.  There is no reason to flame the DEV's for the name that they have chosen.  I like the new alot.  I hope that everyone else will too!

I don't agree with your ideas on strategy, ArtFusion, and I'm not sure that you are making many new friends in this hour. Come back in 34 minutes and spout forth!

tell me again after you explain to all of your cleints when they say "what a weird name!"
and excuse me but in a democracy criticism is healthy, and should we jsut bow down to the almighty dev team, dont you people get it, it needs a name that is easy for clients to accept

Criticism is healthy... and there will be plenty of time for it when the name is released publicly - until then, it is totally inappropriate to mention the name.

Hard to name a CMS where clients wouldn't say it is a wierd name.

Thank you for the advance notification..I got my 4 registered.

Note to ArtFusion:

There is no justification for breaking your word. You should have the grace to apologize.

Sigh.

There are always a few that ruin things for everyone else that CAN be trusted.

A question,
Did you or did you not got your preferred domain name with the OSM new name?
If you do, I don't see any flaw? As the email is intended for those who have mambo domain names to acquire their new OSM name
And if you don't get the name. I don't know any laws or anything for that matter for anyone to register the domain name that you wanted.
Please remember, the dev team is kind enough to give a email for those who who have a mambo domain name. This is a courtesy from them
Waddaya mean I can't swing my lightsaber in the forum??

i leave for only 20 mins & missed the drama...

The idea that someone would leave the whole idea of people coming together to keep open source meaning open source just becaues they didn't like the name of the csm..seems kind of silly. no offense...

Can't say I'm a big fan of the new name... but it's growing on me  :).  I have to admit, the initial reaction of the people I have told so far is WTF?  Hopefully it's got a cool meaning at least  ;D.

BTW... got my 4 domains fine.
