Personal Messaging System - PM - No confirmation of message sent.

Hi,

I don't know about anyone else, but I find it quite disconcerting that immediately after hitting the submit reply button I am shown the original PM that I have just responded to.  Is there any way to display a 'your message has been sent' message? I just had a quick check in the profile -> PM message preferences and couldn't see anything related.

There is currently no such option.  Some people, like me, cannot stand seeing, "your post has been made.  Now please wait while I waste your precious time for no real reason" messages.

An option could easily be added, which would only require modifying a couple lines.

Confirmation of actions is a common usability requirement.
I too have been constantly flipping over to the sent messages to see if it went.

It took me awhile to realize that the icon had changed.
The icon showing that there has been a reply is very small and not obvious.
Most people are not going to notice 5 pixels (diag) with low contrast, on the same icon.
A bright color arrow would be obvious..

I find the icons throughout the forum lacking in visual contrast.
Perhaps there is another more usability oriented icon set?

Or some other way of obviously confirming the message had been sent.
